Fantastic details on Provincial Sports Lottery betting!
The Winning Strategy is a book that is long over due! I love to play the Provincial Sports Lottery, but it is hard to win without inside knowledge. Al J's Sports REALLY tells you everything that you need to know about PSL betting in this book. By far, it is the best $20 that I ever spent! The only thing is, it is so detailed that you really need to read it twice. It's worth your effort!

This Book Is The Real Deal!
I purchased this book back in 1995, began reading it, but never finished even the first chapter. I came across it neatly packed away during a recent move and decided to give it a try. WOW!!! I could not get over the results. After reading the entire book and years of NEVER winning the Florida "Cash Three", following Isaac's system, I won the next 5 out of 7 "Boxed" Cash Three games! This book is written in eveyday language and does not require an accountants degree to understand. The author is not beyond reproach either, as I have found in other systems I've read, and is more than willing to help or advise through his listed WEB site. So if you want to waste your money on "Horoscope Readings" or some other scheme that is based on obscure data like a friend's, mother's, cousin's, pet dog's birthday that's ok. But, if you want an honest-to-goodness system that WORKS, then this is the book you want to read. T. L., Davie, Florida.

Hitting the Lottery Jackpot: State Governments and the Taxing of Dreams
Published in Hardcover by Monthly Review Press (September, 1999)
Author: David Nibert
Amazon base price: $48.00
Used price: $50.30
Average review score:

An outstanding contribution to Political Science studies.
Hitting The Lottery Jackpot: Government And The Taxing Of Dreams is a timely and informative critique of the economic, social, and political costs of state reliance on lotteries to generate public revenues. David Nibert highlights the conflicting role of the state as a promoter of gambling to show who really profits from lottery gambling: advertising agencies, television stations, and ticket vendors. Less than half the money wagered is returned to participants as prizes. Hitting The Lottery Jackpot reveals the losers: lower-income groups, people of color. These are the segments of the general populace that spend a much higher percentage of their income on lotteries than others. Nibert also connects the rise of lottery legalization with economic stagnation in the 1970s, and explores the ideological dimensions of the lottery of "get-rich-quick individualist promoted among the very groups who would be better served in meeting their economic needs by political action and solidarity. Hitting The Lottery Jackpot is highly recommended reading for students of government, ethics, and political science.

AWESOME
This is the kind of book you pull off the library shelf because the title is outrageous. "There is no way a book could live up to that title," you think to yourself. That is exactly what I did. I opened the cover and discovered a delightful and insightful book about life, and finance. I have read many books of advice on how to invest, and this I have to admit is the best most useful book I have read on that topic both for beginning investors, and for the seasoned. The book is ostensibly about how to manage your affairs if you are trying to win the Lottery. Mr Sanford covers alot of territory here, and includes excellent advice on issues relating to the Lotto, and if you would win, and if you would not win which is more likely! It's a fun book. Don't miss it!
